Review:
When I first saw Claire de Lune, I wasn't sure I had enough time to read it, with the length of my to-read pile. But when I saw it at my library, I went for it and finished it in two days. My favorite part? The uniqueness of the world that the author created. I've never read anything like this book. I loved how close the world was to ours, but how different it truly was. The characters were fairly good, but at times they seemed a little too perfect and almost stereotypical in a way. I liked the way the werewolves were so intertwined to each other and how loyal they were to the pack, it really made them seem a lot more wolf than human. The story kept moving right along for the most part and the writing was quite enjoyable. And the cover is really pretty, even more so than the pictures on the Internet (it has some pretty awesome swirls going on). I am very excited about the next book in the series and in the meantime, Claire de Lune gets a 4/5.
